I was craving for Ramly Burger so badly the other day, thanks to my good friend SASA for showing me those delicious, mouth-watering Youtube videos, I nearly fainted and wanted to buy a ticket to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as soon as possible. I will definitely make plans to travel to KL and Singapore in my next coming holiday (:
So I decided to replicate by looking at many Youtube videos and online blogs.
These are the ingredients I went shopping for -
Essentials are:
Beef gourmet patties with cheese (you can use Chicken patties also)
Onions (as much as you want!) – Diced
Bag of Romaine (Cos) Lettuce – my favourite (I don’t want to buy half a huge cabbage or a whole one! O_O)
Eggs – I used sized 6, you’d better get size 7 and bigger so you can cover the patty!
Fresh Burger buns
Cheese – Yes after I came home, I realised I had forgotten CHEESE! can you believe it? neither can I *fainted*
Luckily the Gourmet Beef patties had cheese inside already, fair enough, that should make up for it.
You can use Kraft Cheese singles or real cheddar cheese.
Sauces/Seasoning:
Mayonnaise Lite
Worcestershire Sauce (Pronounced Woos-ter-cher or Woos-ter-shy-er Sauce) – Many people I know never knew how to pronounce this properly, so there you go! Now say it to me haha
Curry Powder – for that extra kick!
Kikkoman Soy Sauce – the one used for Sushi, not dark one okay?
Olive Oil Spread – healthy alternative to margarine or butter
Ground White Pepper – shake them all over the place! but careful not to get your nose
Tomato Ketchup – You can use chili sauce too, none here that I would like to use so went with Tomato Ketchup
Steps:
1. Fan grill Beef patties in oven for up about 15mins (from frozen) until patties are slightly brown, juicy and sizzling
2. Heat pan on high, pour oil and get eggs ready
3. Crack 1 egg into the pan and spread out as much as you can! I would suggest when its not very hot so you have time to spread it, otherwise it gets cooked on the spot
4. Place already cooked beef patty ontop of spread-ed egg
5. Pour seasoning (Pepper, Worcestershire Sauce, Soy Sauce and Curry Powder) onto beef patty, let it simmer a wee while
6. Wrap egg onto beef patty and place onto a plate
7. Decorate your burger with garnishes
8. Open your mouth as big as possible and get ready for a big BITE
I used Canola oil to fry the egg. I will let the pictures do the talking now (:

Why is it called Ramly Special? because it comes with an egg.
Please google “Ramly Burger” for more information, and go watch some Youtube videos! But I must WARN you, you will wish you are in Malaysia like RIGHT NOW! O_O

A close up replica of the messy-yet-delicious Ramly Special. Okay it does not look quite like the real Ramly burger, but close enough
I would say this is the healthier variant
~~~
MMMMmmmm Delicious! and Mouth-Watering!
Like how the Japanese would say “U-mai !!!!!!!” (Typically used by Men, but Women may use it as well)
Dragging the “U” pronounced as OOOOOoooooooooooo sound as long as you can!
Acting as dramatic and exaggerated as you can! ^O^
