Decided to go to city to take some photos on a Wednesday late afternoon, the weather looked quite promising earlier but not for long.

I ended up in Sky City Metro and decided to catch a movie, “The Dark Knight” was screening at the IMAX theatre, it was awesome! the huge screen and surround sound was crazy. Tickets were sold out fast, so we had to sit 3rd row from the front, sure does make us DIZZY  at times, nevertheless it was a kick ass experience.

SEE MORE, HEAR MORE, FEEL MORE — IMAX is the ultimate movie experience. With crystal clear images and wraparound digital surround sound, IMAX lets you feel like you’re really there.

Definitely worth watching it! Loads of action and packed with cool gadgets, architecture, cinematography and all that usual good looking stuff (Nokia phones, Lamborghini and so on).

Catch it at IMAX now! remember to book early and sit FAR FAR

Sky City Metro neon blue theme all over the escalators, trying to attract the young generation, i guess?

From another perspective, blue, funky, futuristic and cool lighting.

Actually it is quite confusing to find your way around. Almost like a puzzle or a maze!

I take a while sometimes how to reach some shops or to exit the building :silly: Only sometimes!

Yes…. due to the rain we had to hang around Sky City Metro for up to 2hours, and therefore could not resist not to buy the Wii Fit at LiveWire. It was $188 and was cheapest of all places which was at $199+. Since my Wii is New Zealand bought, it was worth buying, though it isn’t the cheapest in the world.

The Wii Fit consist of the Wii balance board and a game (up to 40 training activities).

Only 1 player can play at a time though, but you can go jogging with a 2nd player, by using a 2nd Wii controller.

After 3 days of using it, it really does work! It does make you do a good workout, try it out! I recommend buying it since it does help improve health without trying hard, because you can actually enjoy doing it!

Try to be competitive and do better each time, and sweat it out! Yoga workouts are really good, it really stretch those muscles!

I WILL do a review on it soon.

Look at all the marios in the pile. Just had to shoot it. I love Super Mario Brothers! Mario, Luigi and not to forget Yoshi!

iPhone 16gb Black sold out!

Wow! Black is more popular than White! I just realised they now sell the handset alone, now that’s more like it ;)
Bad News is you cannot go on Prepay according to Vodafone’s Q&A Section on the website.

Question: I am a Vodafone Prepay customers – can I get iPhone 3G on Prepay
Answer: No, iPhone will not be available on Prepay.

You need to have subscribed to either an iPhone plan or alternatively a standard On account plan (You Choose, talkZone, or Corporate) with a compatible Broadband plan for mobiles.

To purchase this product you must have “good” or better coverage in your area.

iPhone 16gb Black sold out!

Just received an email from Apple about the iPhone 3G release details.

Have a look! It will be out on all 3 main streets of the 3 main cities of New Zealand at 1 minute past midnight.

The time that All Hell breaks loose! in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

iPhone 2 3G model

I’m thinking whether I should take my DSLR and go take pictures of people queueing for the hype!

(Don’t worry I will avoid the drunkards  )

Queen Street is going to be crowded? Maybe or maybe not :)

Definitely going to have a huge traffic jam and people jam.

By the way the price is pretty steep, and I knew it was going to be tied down to 2 years of contract, otherwise Vodafone wouldn’t bother to put such a big effort to release iPhone 3G here in New Zealand! *hehe*

A 16gb (white/black) model would costs approximately NZD$6000 for 2 years on the $250/mth plan with 1GB of data, with 600 national anytime minutes each month and up to 600 TXTs per month to any NZ mobile (within NZ).*

New Zealand is 1 of the 22 countries to unleash the iPhone 3G first!

Those countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US.**
