The classic red-coloured urban taxi of Hong Kong. (Ok I know you can’t really tell in this photograph)
Catch the red taxi if you are heading to Central from the airport. They are everywhere! Wished we had some of these in Auckland (:
A little “Welcome” picture for everyone
*LOL* Okay… I don’t even know where to start *hrhrhr*
Sorry for the lack of updates, the people who knows me personally will know that I have been away on a long vacation, you may call it my annual leave.
My Macbook Pro has been acting like a b*tch, it will probably be going for servicing shortly, I just never had the time to backup and take it to an Apple Authorised Service Provider to have it checked out. It isn’t the battery or the ram *boohoo*, which I wished it was, it would have been easier to fix, its something far more serious… I am very devastated, as I do not like being interrupted using my laptop. I do not like it going away and god knows when will it come back, since it most probably needs a new logic board. (Which may take few days to several weeks to several months, this is what I heard from the forum of macrumours.com)
It has not been working properly for the last few months, I have Applecare (3 years warranty) so I was trying to diagnose myself first and tried several methods to fix it, all of which has FAILED! I wished there was Apple here, so I can drop it to a genius who may pin point the problem straight away. I have a feeling it will take quite a while for the technician to find the problem and actually fix it. OK wish me luck!
I wanted to check-in my Macbook Pro for servicing in Hong Kong, but I was only there for about 10 days, which I know is way too short, so thought it was best to worry about it upon my return to New Zealand.
On the other side of things, I have taken reasonably amount of pictures on my trip!
My itinerary Auckland, New Zealand > Brunei Darussalam > Hong Kong > Shanghai, China > Hong Kong > Auckland, New Zealand.
Unfortunately I fell sick on the 2nd day of being in Shanghai, it was super cold. The sky was always grey
and had very bad pollution, I didn’t think my body could not take it. I thought I was going to die in China *_*, I had a fever of 39.95 degrees (the temperature was taken when I decided that I should go to the hospital and get some prescription for antibiotics, an inhaler and whatever to decrease the fever’s temperature).
It was a super dodgy experience, sorry to say but the hospital was very freaky, overall the doctor did a checkup and said my heart rate was normal. For 2 days I took the prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine, with my own panadol and paracetamol I brought from New Zealand to get my fever down. Crazy experience, but I am all well now. *prays* Phew that day would have been on Friday April 3rd, 2009.
Swine flu has caused such a big scare in New Zealand and across the world, I have taken my dose of immunisation.
Have you had yours?
