Crazy halloween

Our companions for the night! Absolut Vodka(s) and Pepe Lopez +_+

Checked into HotelSO at 12am MIDNIGHT! yes crazy!
Wanted a place to crash after partying, checked out at 11am *exhausted*

Um… yes this was our Halloween costume!
Went out dressed like that from Shooters to Sol Square to Coyote *lol*
Not sure what are we supposed to be… just crazy heavy makeup I guess :O
Love the colour PURPLE!

This is Eve being a ghostly/deadly chick, resembles Juon or The Ring… don’t you think?
Freaks me out sometimes just by looking at her *lol*

Look at his face… so stoned… he only had about 5 shots and has been really quiet ever since.

Fireworks fun

So we bought our own box of fireworks and went to the New Brighton Pier on Monday night, just before Eve is to return to Wellington for good.
Didn’t realise we looked like a bunch of Eskimos :O

Ok it was super windy and cold =_=
As you can see most of the fireworks went sideways :/
I had to position them in an angle in the sand so it would actually go up straight wahaha
Nevertheless fun to light things up and watch them blow high up into the night sky~!

Notice the pier in rainbow colours ^_^ nice!

Ooh a massive burning trail !

New Brighton Pier Fireworks 2009

As it turns 9.10pm, the carnival lights was switched off and everyone was in complete darkness and in anticipation.

As you can see I am way too close to do fireworks photography lol, still one of the best spots!
I only had 5mins to setup, we were queuing for hotdogs, but then we gave up when it was 8.55pm HAHAHA
It was so loud and exciting, awesome~

Lasted quite long too! It was so exhilarating! Loved it~
Once again not the very best attempt, was on BULB mode without a remote~

This was very beautiful, like jewels in the dark night sky!

Guy Fawkes, Fireworks 2009 @ New Brighton Pier

A glimpse of the mini carnival in New Brighton Pier tonight~
Kamikaze; a ride that spins 360 degrees.

It was a spectacular night, the fireworks was very loud and powerful
Much better than the 2009 New Year countdown at the Auckland Sky City Tower.
