Baby Sparrow

It was a very very sunny day for Auckland this Sunday afternoon.

Grabbed my DSLR and went for a stroll at the Viaduct Harbour :cheerful:

Here is a baby Sparrow that I have been stalking for a few minutes, he seems to be pondering about something…

OK maybe its a female. :kissing:

Fly Away

OK after snapping away many pictures, he decided to take off on me!

FLY AWAY………

He was really one cute baby Sparrow bird.

You can find them everywhere, but be gentle and quiet.

They fly off very fast by distraction.

You will expect posts like these, a selection of random photos that I will present to you from all types of occasions.
Hope you just enjoy looking at them, though they are irrelevant nor do they relate to each other in any way.

Posts like these do not necessarily imply they were shot on the same day.
Just think of it as a set of experimental photography
Blue Day outside Scene 1 Apartments

Outside Scene 1 Apartments on Beach Road. Just after the rain…. it has been a cold and gloomy winter this year. I really like Scene 1 apartments more than Scene 2 and Scene 3, modernist and minimalist architecture. Those green coloured windows are sound-proofed glass, they do work… but not really as it’s still very noisy living in the city :getlost:

Cloudy Day outside AXA building

Looking up into the sky near AXA building, gives me a mysterious dark feeling… it was a very cold day as well. The branches were crackling away as the wind kept blowing.

Times Square walk

On the other side of the world… Outside Times Square at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. It was a chilly night.

I love the atmosphere.

Pretty light

At Singapore Changi Airport, while waiting for my Mum talking to a free fortune teller  , I saw this very pretty tube of fluorescent light behind the sofa.

Sugar Cane

This is the sugar cane seller, he is so nice and friendly! I ask if I could take a picture, he said YES and cant stop smiling.

Anybody knows him?

Buying a huge glass of delicious sugar cane juice for SGD$2.00, my Mum thinks its expensive…

Anyhow this is at the airport I guess prices are a little higher?

How are the prices outside at local food stall? anyone care to share? THANKS

iPhone 16gb Black sold out!

Wow! Black is more popular than White! I just realised they now sell the handset alone, now that’s more like it ;)
Bad News is you cannot go on Prepay according to Vodafone’s Q&A Section on the website.

Question: I am a Vodafone Prepay customers – can I get iPhone 3G on Prepay
Answer: No, iPhone will not be available on Prepay.

You need to have subscribed to either an iPhone plan or alternatively a standard On account plan (You Choose, talkZone, or Corporate) with a compatible Broadband plan for mobiles.

To purchase this product you must have “good” or better coverage in your area.
Check your iPhone coverage here http://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/coverage/index.jsp

iPhone 3G - July 11th New Zealand release details

No Comment // Written on Jul 09, 2008 // Tech Savvy // 90 person viewed

Just received an email from Apple about the iPhone 3G release details.

Have a look! It will be out on all 3 main streets of the 3 main cities of New Zealand at 1 minute past midnight.

The time that All Hell breaks loose! in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

iPhone 2 3G model

I’m thinking whether I should take my DSLR and go take pictures of people queueing for the hype!

(Don’t worry I will avoid the drunkards  )

Queen Street is going to be crowded? Maybe or maybe not :)

Definitely going to have a huge traffic jam and people jam.

By the way the price is pretty steep, and I knew it was going to be tied down to 2 years of contract, otherwise Vodafone wouldn’t bother to put such a big effort to release iPhone 3G here in New Zealand! *hehe*

A 16gb (white/black) model would costs approximately NZD$6000 for 2 years on the $250/mth plan with 1GB of data, with 600 national anytime minutes each month and up to 600 TXTs per month to any NZ mobile (within NZ).*

New Zealand is 1 of the 22 countries to unleash the iPhone 3G first!

Those countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US.**

Any iPhone 3G owners-to-be, mind to borrow me your newly bought iPhone 3G to write a comparison review ? (iPhone gen 1 versus iPhone 3G) Do drop me a message, thanks!
